The tennis world was bought to shock today when Andy Murray and Ivan Lendl ended their unbelievable 2 years together.
Lendl said "Having helped him achieve his goal of winning major titles, I feel like it is time for me to concentrate on some of my own projects"Murray added "I'm eternally grateful to Ivan for all his hard work over the past two years, the most successful of my career so far"
Recent results for Andy have been under par as he has not reached a final since Wimbledon 2013. He has been knocked out early at Indian Wells and fell to no.6 in the world rankings.
Murray has been certainly playing his best tennis under Lendl as he has won 7 titles including the Olympics, US Open and Wimbledon. Murray has also climbed back to no.2 in the rankings under Lendl.
One thing is certain, tennis fans will miss this formidable partnership.
